The Fort

Designed as a health and physical education facility, the building was completed in 1967; today it houses the LSUA Generals athletic programs, In 2013, the LSU Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the addition of five sports on campus, including men's and women's basketball which began play in the 2014-15 season. 

The Fort houses the Athletics Department offices, weight room, athletic training room, basketball court, locker rooms for both men's and women's basketball, and The Outpost.
