MOBILE, AL – The ten-seeded Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis team fell to seven-seeded Middle Georgia State, 4-3.
The Generals (9-6) dropped the doubles point to the Knights (13-6).
Nahia Echaide and
Kanu Rajawat grabbed the only LSUA doubles win with a 6-2 victory over Marina Prieto and Ainhoa Fernandez in the top pairing.
In singles, Rajawat captured a 6-4, 6-4 win over Berta Castello in the two-spot.
Isabella Stuurman won 6-4, 6-4 over Yana Prihach in No. 5 Singles.
Joline Roesch recorded a 6-3, 6-4 win in No. 6 Singles over Liza Hinrichs.
Echaide went to tiebreak against Prieto but fell 2-6, 6-1, 6-7, [7-3].
LSUA finished the season with a 9-6 record. Rajawat (No. 25) and Echaide (No. 34) finished ranked in ITA's Women's Tennis Singles rankings.
