SAVANNAH, GA – The No. 9 Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis dropped their first match of their Georgia swing, 4-3, to No. 12 SCAD Savannah.
 
The Bees took the doubles point, capturing two of three doubles matches. Alessia Piccoliori and Asia Liverani notched a 7-5 win over Nahia Echaide and Kanu Rajawat. Erin Passmore and Jess Johnson recorded a 6-4 victory over Ekaterina Orlova and Estehlla Valentina Gonzalez Saiza.
 
Lucie Ivanova recorded a 4-6, 7-5, 6-5 win over Nora Louko at the No. 3 singles. Orlova notched a 6-4, 6-2 win over Johnson at No. 5 singles and Gonzalez Saiza tallied a 6-3, 6-1 victory in No. 6 singles over Passmore.
 
The Generals continue their Georgia trip with a match against the College of Coastal Gerorgia on Tuesday, March 3.
