Dunlop joined the Generals in August 2024. He serves as the primary contact for all seven LSUA athletics teams.
In his first year at LSUA, Dunlop was named the Red River Athletic Conference SID of the Year. Dunlop overhauled the Athletics Communication office for LSUA athletics, including social media efforts generating over 100,000 views per month on Instagram during the men's and women's soccer season and 98,000 views during softball season . He oversaw the creation of Generals Bulletin and the LSUA Athletes of the Week. Dunlop created the first ever game day programs for soccer home matches and re-introduced postgame videos with coaches and players. He also added play-by-play for baseball and softball.
Dunlop wrote LSUA Atheltics' first feature stories on Men's Soccer player Mnqobi Mbili and Women's Soccer player Jaqueline Guillermo. He followed those with stories on the women's basketball senior class, men's basketball's Port Allen connection, and softball's Julia Kwakernaak.
Prior to LSUA, he was the Assistant Director of Athletic Communication at Central Washington University from 2015-2022. During his time with the Wildcats, Dunlop was the primary contact for each of CWU's teams for at least one season. He primarily worked with women's soccer, men's basketball, softball, and men's rugby. Dunlop served as the play-by-play broadcaster and public address announcer for most Wildcat home games. During the 2017 NCAA Division II Football Regional, Dunlop provided play-by-play for the Wildcats opening round game against Texas A&M Commerce. He had a story on former CWU quarterback Reilly Hennessey published on NCAA.com, the only CWU story to hit the NCAA front page from 2015-2022.
As the primary contact for women's soccer, Dunlop promoted the program's first-ever CoSIDAÂ Academic All-District honoree, Keilin Farrand, in 2016. He was also responsible for beginning live streaming at baseball and softball, as well as the creation of GIFs featuring CWU student-athletes which generated over 12 million views.
He also served as the co-chair for the Women's Basketball DII-SIDAÂ West Region Media Poll and was a voting member of the Women's Basketball DII-SIDAÂ National Media Poll. Dunlop served as the GNAC SID Chair from 2016-18.

Previously, he was at Dickinson State University (N.D.) where he was the Sports Marketing and Information Director. While at DSU Dunlop was in charge of media relations, website management, statistics, and creating publications for the athletic department. He was the main contact for all 15 Dickinson State varsity athletic and club programs.  He oversaw the design and implementation of the Blue Hawks' website under PrestoSports and revamped social media usage in Dickinson State athletics.

While at Coker College, Dunlop served as the Sports Information Intern. Over his four years, he was the play-by-play broadcaster for over 450 NCAA Division II athletic events, including the 2011 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer South Super Regional.  Dunlop was also the play-by-play broadcaster for the  2012 MCLA Championship Opening Round in Greenville, S.C.Â
Outside of athletics, he has worked for Habitat for Humanity of Kittitas County and AIT Tech in Charlotte, N.C.

Dunlop is a native of Lewiston, Maine and graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Coker College (S.C.) in 2013. He resides in Alexandria.
