Dimario Jackson joined the Generals staff in April 2023.
Jackson currently serves as the Vice President of the Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches.
The 2024-25 season capped with another NAIA National Tournament appearance. The Generals finished 31-3, including a 22-2 record in RRAC play. LSUA won both the RRAC Regular Season Championship and the RRAC Tournament Championship under Jackson for the second consecutive season. Jackson guided the Generals to an NAIA Round of Eight appearance.LSUA finished the season with a perfect 15-0 record at home and hosted the NAIA First and Second Round. Kashie Natt earned RRAC Player of the Year, RRAC Defensive Player of the Year, RRAC Tournament MVP, Louisiana Small College Player of the Year, and NAIA Player of the Year. Jackson was named the RRAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season, as well as Louisiana Small College Coach of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches. Jackson earned his 50th win at LSUA on February 28 in the RRAC Quarterfinal against Huston-Tillotson University. EJ McQuillan earned All-RRAC First Team honors, while Jakemin Abney and Jordan Decuir earned All-RAC Honorable Mention. Kaleb Pouncy was named to the RRAC Champions of Character Team.
Jackson's first season with the Generals culminated with an NAIA National Tournament appearance and the 2023-24 RRAC Coach of the Year Award. He was also named the Louisiana Small College Coach of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Basketball Coaches. As bench boss Jackson guided LSUA to a 24-7 record, including a 19-3 mark in RRAC play, and a 12-game winning streak from January 6, 2024 to February 10, 2024. The Generals finished the season 12-1 at home. Jackson notched his first win as a General on October 27, 2023 with a 105-56 victory over John Melvin. Kashie Natt earned RRAC Player of the Year, First Team All-RRAC honors, and an NAIA First Team All-American selection. Jadarrian Allen (First Team), Jason Perry (Second Team), Isaiah Howard (Honorable Mention), and Elliot McQuillan (Honorable Mention) also earned All-RRAC selections. Grant Kemp was named to the Champions of Character Team.

In June 2021, Jackson was named the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Port Allen High School; that same year Dimario was named District 8-2A Coach of the Year en route to the team winning the district championship; also, within that same season, Dimario was named Class 2A Coach of the Year en route to winning Port Allen's 3rd State Championship in a row with a record of 24-10. Dimario lead the Pelicans to its fourth straight championship in a row this past season, 2022-2023 with an overall record of 29-4.
Jackson is a 2013 graduate of Brusly High School and went on to further his career at Northeast Mississippi Community College under the leadership of Coach Cord Wright. During his two-year tenure at NEMCC, he was named 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Conference, and National Junior College All-American while earning his Associate of Arts in Business Administration in 2015. He went on to finish his basketball career and received his Bachelor's degree at The University of North Alabama under the leadership of Coach Bobby Champagne
After finishing college, he became an assistant coach/Physical Education teacher at Brusly High School from 2017-2020. In 2020, Jackson became an assistant coach at Zachary High School en route to winning a 5A State Championship.Â
