ALEXANDRIA - LSUA secured their 4th straight victory with a 2-1 win over Jarvis Christian College in the final game of the regular season. Charlotte Maconachie's big day led the Generals as she scored two first half goals that were good enough to hold on for the victory.
Maconachie's first goal came on an assist by Alexia Bermejo, her second goal came on an assist from Jacqui Guillermo. A late goal by the Bulldogs in the second half would keep the game close, but not enough to keep the Generals from propelling themselves into the RRAC Tournament starting next week.
After missing out on the RRAC tournament a year ago, Coach Mark Hammond has his team peaking at the right time heading into the opening round of the conference tournament. The Generals will face off against Texas A&M San Antonio on Saturday November 5th at 1:00pm. The game will be played on the LSUA Campus at Generals Field.
