New Orleans, LA- Down in New Orleans where the Generals secured their fifth straight win. Generals were able to take down the Gold Rush, 78-67, making it a 2-0 sweep for conference play between the two teams.Â

Gold Rush looking to protect their home court came out strong in the first quarter scoring 22 of their 67 points and causing 9 turnovers for the Generals. However, once the 1
st quarter jitters settled, the Generals began to pick up the energy and heat up as they outscored the Gold Rush in the remaining three quarters of play.Â

Raegan Ojoro, set the tone for the Generals as she poured in 22 points on the night and grabbed 10 boards, making this her third double-double of the season.
Alex Harrison was also able to contribute 15 points to the team's win.Â
