ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals picked up a nail biting 2-1 win at home against the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake, moving to 6-2-1 in Red River Athletic Conference play, extending their win streak to three after previously securing two big road wins. 
 
Saints struck quickly in the first half of play with the only goal before heading into halftime. Once the second half began, the Generals needed to get going. Adam Sherwood subbed in and minutes later scored the first goal for the Generals making it a tied ball game that could go either way. 
 
Under five minutes of play, Manuel Concetti took opportunity of a deflected ball, shooting it in right past Saints keeper, giving the Generals the lead and leaving the Saints with very little time to work with. 
 
The Generals will back at home on Saturday, October 21^st, taking on the Jaguars of Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Kick-off at The Trenches is set for 3:30 PM.
