ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals advanced to 9-1-0 in Red River Conference play, extending their win streak to nine, as they defeated the Jaguars of Texas A&M University- San Antonio, 3-1.
 
Remmie Ferla connected with Alexia Bermejo for the Generals first goal of the game, putting the Generals up 1-0 in the first half of play. 
 
Under 30 seconds from the start of the second half, Remmie Ferla worked quickly sneaking one past Jaguars keeper lifting the Generals to 2-0. Ferla would later go on to score the final goal of the game as she has now collected 14 goals on the season thus far. 
 
Keeper, Avery Wright, had a busy second half as the Jaguars took 11 of their 16 shots during that time. Wright only allowed one goal but had some crucial saves throughout the game. 
 
The Generals will be traveling to Shreveport, LA to take on the Pilots of Louisiana State University on Monday, October 23^rd.  The game was originally scheduled weeks prior, but mother nature kept the two teams from taking the pitch. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
