ALEXANDRIA, LA- In one of the biggest match ups of the season as both teams were tied for first place in Red River Athletic Conference play, the Generals took on the Gold Nuggets from Xavier falling in a heartbreaker, 0-1. 
 
Shot selection for both teams were neck and neck as the Generals shot 11 times compared to the Gold Nuggets 13, however, the Gold Nuggets were able to find target in the first half of play. 
 
The Generals will be back in action for the last conference game of the season at home on October 28^th. With a 1:00 PM kick-off, the Generals will be taking on the Stallions of North American for their Senior Day.
