ALEXANDRIA, LA-The Generals kicked off season 10 at home, talking on John Melvin University for an exhibition match up. In his first season with the Generals, Coach Dimario Jackson, led the Generals to a 105-56 victory. 
 
With an electric atmosphere for the team to feed of off, the Generals went up 75-33 going into halftime, executing on both ends of the floor. The Generals forced 20 turnovers and scored 41 points just from those turnovers. 
 
Returner, JD Allen, led the way for the Generals with 21 points, going 5-6 from the 3-point line. New comers, EJ McQuillan and JT Curry also made statements by pouring in 18 points apiece. However, not only can the Generals score, they can also rebound. Generals out rebounded John Melvin, 46-20, and newcomer Sedric Curry had the high of nine rebounds.
 
Here's what Head Coach Dimario Jackson had to say about the win: "I thought we were dominate from start to finish but there are some areas we still need to be better defensively. Offensively, we will get better; but we have to be more aggressive defensively. We expect to be dominant every time out. We will get back to practice in the morning and get ready for Monday".
 
The Generals will be traveling to New Orleans on Monday, October 30^th to take on Dillard University. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.
