FARMER'S BRANCH, TX- The women's basketball has officially moved to 2-0 to start off their 2023-23 season after an impressive 71-40 win over the Dallas Christian College Crusaders.
The Generals set the tone early as they scored 29 of their 71 points in the first quarter. Leading the way offensively was senior returner,
Dannah Martin-Hartwick. Martin-Hartwick was hot from the three-point range as she went 5-6 behind the arch and 7-13 from the field bringing in a total of 19 points.
The Generals shared the ball well as 10 of the 14 Generals that traveled put points on the board. Not only did they score, but they also out-rebounded the Crusaders 48-34. O
Next up for the Generals will be another exhibition match up at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. Tip-off between the Generals and Cardinals is set for 6:00 PM.
