COLUMBIA, MO-The Generals headed to Columbia, Missouri after the NAIA National Tournament selection show to make an appearance in their first ever chance at the Race for the Red Banner.
Generals drew the Ravens of Benedictine College out of Kansas for the first round of the tournament. With everything on the line both teams battled it out on the pitch going into halftime scoreless on both sides.
As the whistle blew to start the second half, both teams went into scoring mode as the Ravens would strike first, but shortly after
Remmie Ferla tacked on her 18
th goal of the season giving the Generals their lone goal of the game as they fell 3-1.
Despite the loss, the Generals have a lot to be proud of as they accomplished a lot of "firsts" this season including:
-Most wins in a single season
-Longest win streak in program history
-Longest unbeaten streak in program history

st Conference Tournament Championship

st time qualifying for the NAIA National Championship
The Generals are also built on strong young core, that's eager to grow and expand on this historic season for next year.
