ALEXANDRIA, LA-After starting the 2023-24 season on the road for the past four games, the Generals were finally able to showcase their talents in front of the hometown crowd here in The Fort. The Generals took on the Knights of SUNO, dominating from start to finish with the 86-37 win. 
 
From tip-off the Generals left no doubt as they went on to score 14 points in the first quarter holding SUNO to only 2 points. They would also go on to put up double digits in every quarter of play including a high scoring 3^rdquarter of 32 points. 
 
Senior, Dannah Martin-Hartwick had the crowd on their feet as she poured in 18 points, going 5-7 from behind the arch. Newcomers, Bella Smith and Blair Smith, also put-up big numbers as they both were the only other Generals in double-digits. Bella Smith, the standout from Fairview High had 12 points, 4 rebounds, and three steals. Blair Smith was just shy of a double double as she dropped 11 points of her own and battled on the boards grabbing 8 rebounds. 
 
The Generals will now turn their attention to the start of Red River Athletic Conference play as they will take on the Pilots of LSUS on November 30^th. Tip-off is set for November 30^th at 5:30 PM in Shreveport, LA.
