STERLINGTON, LA- In day two of the Red River Athletic Conference tournament, the Generals continued in the winner's bracket scheduled to face LSU-Shreveport. The Generals and Pilots kept things close, but the Generals bats went cold after the third inning as they fell, 2-4.Â

The Pilots stuck first putting up two runs between the first two innings of play. However,
Blaise Foote stepped up to the plate in the third inning sending one over the right field fence as
Cameron Daigle was on base, making it a tied ball game at 2-2.Â

Both teams went scoreless in the 4
th inning, but the Pilots were able to score in the fifth and sixth inning, shutting out the Generals for the rest of the game.

The Generals are not to be counted out as they will have a chance for redemption fighting out of the elimination bracket. They are set to face the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake on Sunday, May 7
th. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM.Â
