ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals of LSUA saw a bounce back win, 3-2 against the University of Mobile Rams, after falling to No.23 USAO in their season opener. Head Coach Mark Hammond knew and trusted in the potential of his team, and today's match proved they have what it takes to have a successful season.
"Very proud of the squad today. ", said Coach Hammond, "We've worked extremely hard this week, both on and off the pitch. We are growing & becoming who we need to be to achieve our goals each day. Today showed we are moving in the right direction."

Caroline Bach Sorenson, started things off early in the 1
st half with the first goal of the game assisted by
Alexia Bermejo. Despite Mobile answering with a goal of their own nine mintues later, Generals
Hannah Carter sent them into halftime with the lead as she scored with only a few seconds left on the clock.
The Generals and the Rams battled it out during the second half of play and
Micaela Nunes was able to extend the lead 3-1 over the Rams. Rams, Hughes, able to creep back into the game with another goal making it 3-2, but a strong Generals' team held them off and captured the victory.
Next up for the Generals will be a match up against the Eagles of William Baptist University at home in The Trenches. Kick-off is September 2
