Theresa Langauer assisted by Sophi Borhi sent both teams into halftime tied up 1-1.Ā

As the teams took the field for the second half of play, it was just a question of who was going to break the tie. Bethel answered with two goals within a ten-minute span of play.Ā

As time winded down, the Generals had to gain some momentum. Caroline Quast was able to draw the penalty shot, putting the Generals only trailing by one goal, 3-2.Ā

The Generals battled till the last second but were unable to come out on top.Ā

"Tough result today", said Hammond, "We showed great resilience & togetherness in the adversity of playing so long with a player down. We'll evaluate areas to improve & go again on Thursday."

The Generals will be on the road for a match up against Texas Wesleyan University on September 7
th. Kick off against the Rams is set for 4:00 PM.Ā
