ALEXANDRIA, LA- After a four-game road stretch, the Generals were back at home sweet home for more Red River Athletic Conference play. In the match up between the Generals and the Saints of OLLU, the Generals came out on top with the 76-62 win moving to an overall record of 9-5 and 7-2 in conference.
From start to finish the Generals handled business getting on the board first with a quick layup from
Isaiah Howard. Despite OLLU holding the lead for a few minutes in the first half, the
Generals worked quickly to come back on top, leading 40-35 going into halftime.
Generals didn't let up on the gas coming into the second half of play, seeing their largest lead of 11-points, and sealing the win.
Kashie Natt collected another double-double for the season with 16 points and 14 rebounds and Jason Perry matched Natt with 16 points of his own with the help of four 3-pointers.
JT Curry and
JD Allen also saw double digit figures with 13 points apiece.
Back at home on Saturday, January 20
th, the Generals will face the Rams of Huston Tillotson University. Tip-off at The Fort is set for 4:00 PM.
