Generals Upset No. 12 Ranked LSUS for First in RRAC

ALEXANDRIA, LA-The Generals moved to 10-2 in RRAC play, and now sit in the number one spot for conference, after defeating the No. 12 ranked Pilots of LSUS, 103-98.

"Tonight was a good win for our team, our program", said Coach Jackson, "However, we must be better defensively and finishing better. We must be better at the free throw line. Our team are doing a great job of buying in and selling out for the betterment of the team. We must remain focused and keep getting better daily!".

A good win indeed as the Generals got started early and led for the entire game, despite the Pilots chipping away at the Generals 24-point lead down the stretch, the Generals were able to maintain composure and play smart basketball to finish out with the victory. 

Kashie Natt led the way with 26 points and 12 rebounds as JT Curry also added in a double-double of his own going for 23 points and 10 rebounds. Allen and Perry also saw double-digits on the night as well. 

The Generals will be back at home on Saturday, January 27th as they take on the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana. Game time is set for 4:00 PM.
