ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's soccer team heads on the road for a pair of Red River Athletic Conference matches this week against Our Lady of the Lake University and Texas A&M-San Antonio.
 
"We have two really tough away games this week," LSUA Head Coach Mackenzie Young said. "We're in a good spot as a team and have had a lot of success at home this season, now we have four away games to finish up before playoffs. We will be ready."
 
The Generals (9-3-2, 7-0-2 RRAC) went 2-0-0 last week with a 3-0 win over the University of Houston-Victoria and a 2-0 victory over Huston-Tillotson. The Generals are unbeaten in their last nine games, compiling a 7-0-2 record. They have currently won three straight matches and have not allowed a goal in four of their last five matches.
 
Pablo Dominguez de León won RRAC Offensive Player of the Week, scoring three goals. He notched game winning goals in both matches. Joshua Angel Craven recorded three assists, bringing his season total to 11. Angel Craven now holds the LSUA record for most assists in a single season. He is also tied for the lead among all NAIA players in assists. Valeriu Tarlev also etched his name into the record book, eclipsing the career saves mark. He has made 196 saves over his LSUA career.
 
RRAC TABLE UPDATE
With just two weeks left in the regular season, LSUA is in second in the conference table with 23 points. Ahead of the Generals is LSU Shreveport with 28 points. The Pilots are the only team to clinch a berth to the RRAC Tournament.
 
The Generals have four games remaining on the season for a possible 12 points. They have a game in hand on LSU Shreveport, who have three games remaining.
 
Louisiana Christian is in third in the table with 22 points, just one point behind LSUA. The Wildcats also have four games remaining.
 
SCOUTING OUR LADY OF THE LAKE
The Saints are 4-9-1 overall and 3-5-1 in RRAC play. They are 2-2-0 when playing in the friendly confines of the OLLU Soccer Field. Last week, OLLU went 1-1-0 with a 3-2 loss to Xavier and a 1-0 win over North American.
 
OLLU have scored 20 goals on the season, averaging 1.43 goals per game. Andres Rocha leads the Saints with eight goals and one assists for 17 points. Thiago Fernandes is tied for the team lead in points, having tallied seven goals and three assists. The pair make up 75-percent of the Saints' goals.
 
In goal, Dominic Pena has made 13 starts. He has recorded a 2.42 goals against average, allowing 31 goals and making 81 saves. The Saints have allowed a total of 34 goals and hold a goals against average of 2.43.
 
Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 PM on Thursday, October 24.

SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-SAN ANTONIO
The Jaguars are 6-4-1 overall and 5-3-0 in RRAC play. They are 2-0-1 at home. Last week they recorded a 3-0 clean sheet over North American before falling to Xavier (La.), 1-0. TAMUSA hosts Louisiana Christian on Thursday, October 24, before hosting the Generals on Saturday.
 
TAMUSA has scored 23 goals, averaging 2.30 goals per game and average 15.4 shots per game. They have allowed 1.60 goals per game.
