PREVIEW | Men's Basketball Closes 2024 Against Jaguars, No. 20 Saints

Presented by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The No. 5 Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team takes on Texas A&M-San Antonio and Our Lady of the Lake in a pair of Red River Athletic Conference road games.

"Huge game for us Thursday on the road at TAMUSA," LSUA Head Coach Dimario Jackson said. "Coach Dial does a great job. Those guys play hard, they're disciplined and their guards can put a lot of pressure on the paint! Defensively, we have to be ready to contain the dribble! We have to be the tougher team and the more disciplined team.  OLLU is one of the Top 25 teams in the country. They are very well rounded! Coach Thompson has those guys playing really good basketball! It'll be good vs good at every position! We have to be disciplined; we have to be tough. We have to execute on both ends!"

The Generals are riding a five-game win streak after picking up a pair of wins last week over Huston-Tillotson and North American University.
