AUSTIN, TX- After taking one to the chin, the Generals bounced back into the win column as they defeated the Rams of Huston Tillotson, 80-73, moving to 18-6 overall and 16-3 in conference play.
The Generals took charge as five players were within double-digits, led by Jason Perry who drained in 14 points as the Generals took charge early going into half time leading 40-33.
Coming into the second half of play, the Generals saw their largest lead of the game with a 14-point cushion, and although the Rams begin to chip away gaining on the Generals, the Generals took advantage of the free throw line down the stretch and key shooting to come up with the win.
Next up the Generals will be back at home on Tuesday, February 20
th for a rematch with Red River Rivals, the LCU Wildcats. Tip-off at The Fort is set for 7:30 PM.
