ALEXANDRIA, LA-Because of gym conditions at LCU, the Generals were able to meet up with the Wildcats for round two of conference play right at home in The Fort, taking the 82-75 victory moving to 20-5 overall and 17-3 in RRAC play.
Behind a 21-point performance from point-guard
Dannah Martin-Hartwick, and three other Generals in double-digit figures including
Jewel Jones,
Amani Gray, and
Raegan Ojoro, the Generals were able to jump out with the lead after back and forth play to start off the 1
st period of play.
Despite the Wildcats outscoring the Generals in the 2
nd quarter and 4
th quarter of play, the Generals were able to maintain composure and lean in on their 26-point performance in the 1
st period and 25 point performance in the 3
rd quarter to maintain the lead and sail off with the win.
The Generals will be back at home in The Fort on Thursday, February 22
nd taking on the Steers of Texas College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM.
