Alexandria, LA- LSUA remain first in the RRAC as they complete a regular season double over Xavier.
LSUA are too hot to handle right now and are gathering momentum at a frightening pace. LSUA knew that Xavier would pose a serious threat if they were not on their 'A' game, but unfortunately for the visitors, the Generals came out firing. With a 12 point lead at the half, the Generals never took their foot off the gas and continued to dominate. Xavier never gave up, but LSUA shot 44% from the three point range, which proved too much to keep up with. LSUA came out victorious by a score of 96-87.
Kashie Natt led the way in scoring with 22 points, and
JD Allen knocked down 18 of own. The talented
Isaiah Howard continued to impress with some magical plays throughout, while
Terrance James and
Jourdain Dishmond had a huge impact coming off the bench.Â
