ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals took home field against the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana for Red River Athletic Conference play, where the Generals took game one, 12-10, of the three-game series. 

The Generals had a rough start to game one as the Eagles had the hot bats to begin going up 8-0 by the end of the bottom of the 4^th inning. However, the Generals soon rallied back scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the fourth to inch closer to the Eagles lead. 

The Generals then went on to take the lead in the 7^th inning of play and extended that lead in the eight innings. The Eagles were able to give the Generals a scare in the 9^th inning adding two more runs, but a strong closing from pitcher, Kyler Carson, landed the win for the Generals. 

The Generals will be back at home on Saturday, March 30^th for double-header action with the Eagles to close out the series. First pitch of game one will be at 12:00 PM.
