Generals Steal Two from Saints

SAN ANTONIO, TX-The Generals started their tour of away games with a stop in San Antonio, TX to take on the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake University. The Generals were able to win 2-3 games moving to an overall record of 17-18 and 14-9 in Red River Athletic Conference play.

GAME ONE: LSUA 7, OLLU 5
The Generals sparked in the 4th inning during game one against the Saints as they put up five runs with the help of a walk with bases loaded, a hard hit to shortstop by Mengarelli, a passed ball, and a 2 run RBI by Blaise Foote. Foote went 3-4 at the plate with 3 RBIs as the Generals added 2 more runs in the 6th and left the field with the game one win.

GAME TWO: LSUA 8, OLLU 3
The Saints were the ones to get on the scoreboard first with one run in the first inning of play, but Peyton Marcantel soon answered back with a double to left field and was soon brought in by Jacob Martin making it a 2-1 game leaving the 2nd inning. The Generals extended their lead by scoring in every inning of play except for the 4th and 7th.

Marcantel led in the batter's box going 3-3 with 3 RBIs and scoring 2 runs.

GAME THREE: LSUA 0, OLLU 13
