HOBBS, NM- After taking game one against the Mustangs in an 18-3 win, the Generals went on to finish out the three-game series with double-header action on Friday finishing in a split.
The Generals fell in game one of the Friday double-headers, 2-9, after struggling to get going offensively. Recording only five hits on the game, the came from the top of the lineup, the two runs scored were not enough to hold off the Mustangs.
However, game two, the Generals were electric in the box.

Blaise Foote, and
Jaxon Bernard all saw homeruns. Foote was unstoppable as he went 3-6 with 5 RBIs.
Jaxon Bernard also was a big piece in the Generals win as he went 3-3 in the box with 2 RBIs, and he scored five of the 21 runs. Overall, the Generals recorded 18 hits in the 21-4 victory in game two.
Colin LaCombe took the win on the mound as he pitched 5.2 innings allowing seven hits and striking out five.
The Generals will travel to the University of Houston Victoria for their last conference matchup of the season before heading to Sterlington, LA for the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament. The Generals will meet the Jaguars on April 26
th for game one at 6:30 PM.
