STERLINGTON, LA- The Generals have climbed back into the winner's bracket of the Red River Athletic Conference Baseball tournament after defeating Jarvis Christian 9-4. 

Brandon Noel took control on the mound for the Generals as he pitched seven innings before being relieved. During that time, Noel only allowed 6 hits and three runs from the Bulldogs, while striking out 10. 

Offensively, the Generals were off to a slow start as they didn't get on the scoreboard until the 8^th inning of play when Labruyere's double to left field scored Dugas.

From there, the Generals were unstoppable as Blaise Foote also saw a 2-run homer that lifted the Generals over the Bulldogs, 4-3.  The Generals maintained that spark adding five more runs in the 9^th inning to ride out with the win. 

Up next the Generals will try to continue to stay alive in tournament play as they with face the Jaguars of the University of Houston Victoria. First pitch is set for 1:00 PM on Saturday May 4^th.
