THE GENERALS
LSUA recorded a pair of clean sheet victories last week over North American University and Texas A&M-Victoria. They are now 12-1-1 overall and 7-0-1 in RRAC play.
Ben McCarron notched his first career hat trick against North American University.
Ivan Capurro earned RRAC Defensive Player of the Week honors with two clean sheets.
The Generals are currently in second in the RRAC table behind LSU Shreveport.
SCOUTING LSU SHREVEPORT
The Pilots 10-0-5 overall and 8-0-0 in RRAC play. They have won 10 consecutive matches, including two last week against Jarvis Christian, 5-0, and Texas A&M-Texarkana, 4-2.
LSUS has scored 40 goals this season and have a goals against average of 0.87. Jack Thomas leads the Pilots with 14 goals and 10 assists for 38 points. He was named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week after scoring seven goals and adding two assists last week.
The Generals are 2-6-1 since 2018 against LSU Shreveport. Last season, the pair played to a 2-2 draw on October 10.
SCOUTING LOUISIANA CHRISTIAN
The Wildcats are 4-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 in RRAC play. They fell to A&M-Texarkana, 2-1, last week. Their match against Jarvis Christian was postponed due to weather.
Louisiana Christian has recorded 27 goals and allowed 22. Aran Hernandez Vivar leads the Wildcats with 10 goals and two assists for 22 points. Juan Diego Ramirez Leon and Ricardo Gross have split time in goal this season for the Wildcats. Ramirez Leon has allowed seven goals and holds a goals against average of 2.22. Gross has allowed 11 goals and has a GAA of 1.67.
The Generals are 5-1-2 all-time against LCU. They drew 1-1 last season on September 21.

Admission to men's soccer games for spectators is free. The Generals Soccer Field is located on the back of LSUA's campus between Acorn Drive, Middleton Drive, and Tom Bowman Drive. Seating is located on the south side of the field.
