THE GENERALS
LSUA recorded a pair of clean sheet victories last week over North American University and Texas A&M-Victoria. They are now 9-6-0 overall and 7-1-0 in conference play.
Fenja Leibner earned RRAC Defensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against North American and anchoring the backline in both clean sheets.
The Generals are currently second in the RRAC table behind LSUS.
SCOUTING LSU SHREVEPORT
The Pilots are 9-5-0 on the season and 8-0-0 in conference play. They beat Jarvis Christian, 7-1, and Texas A&M-Texarkana, 3-1, last week.
Jade Derks leads the Pilots with 10 goals and eight assists for 28 points. Elena Lopez has made all 14 starts in goal for LSUS. She has allowed 26 goals and has a goals against average of 2.13.
The Generals are 5-6-1 against the Pilots since 2017. They won the last meeting, 3-1, on November 12, 2024.
SCOUTING LOUISIANA CHRISTIAN
The Wildcats enter the week with a record of 4-4-0 overall and 3-4-0 in RRAC play. They fell to A&M-Texarkana last week, 3-0. Their match against Jarvis Christian was postponed due to weather.
LCU has scored 27 goals and allowed just 10. Giselle Laing leads the Wildcats with nine goal and two assists for 20 points. Marta Papandrea and Lucia Solanilla Leo have split starts in goal. Papandrea has allowed six goals and has a goals against average of 1.33, while Solanilla Leo has allowed four goals and posted a GAA of 1.14.
The Generals are 2-2-2 all-time against LCU. They drew last season, 0-0, on September 21.

Admission to women's soccer games for spectators is free. The Generals Soccer Field is located on the back of LSUA's campus between Acorn Drive, Middleton Drive, and Tom Bowman Drive. Seating is located on the south side of the field.
