ALEXANDRIA, LA – The (RV) Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's soccer team hosts Jarvis Christian University and Texas A&M-Texarkana in a pair of Red River Athletic Conference matches.

THE GENERALS
LSUA improved to 9-1-1 overall and 4-0-0 in RRAC play last week with a pair of wins over Our Lady of the Lake University, 8-1, and Texas A&M-San Antonio, 2-0.
 
Paul Adler scored three goals over two matches against Our Lady of the Lake and Texas A&M-San Antonio last week, including the game-winning goal in both matches. Against the Jaguars, Adler scored both goals in the Generals' 2-0 win to remain undefeated in RRAC play.
 
SCOUTING JARVIS CHRISTIAN
The Bulldogs are 1-7-1 on the season and 1-2-1 in RRAC play. They won their last outing against North American University, 2-1, and drew with A&M-Victoria, 1-1, earlier last week.
 
Jarvis Christian has scored seven goals, led by Kevin Ochoa with three. Julio Lopez and Luis Rosales have each scored a pair.
 
The Generals are 9-1-1 against JCU all-time. LSUA took home a 1-0 win over the Bulldogs in Hawkins, Texas last season.
 
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-TEXARKANA
The Eagles enter the week with a 3-4-4 overall record and a 2-2-0 mark in RRAC play. They recorded a 3-1 victory over Texas A&M-Victoria in their last outing. TAMUT plays at Xavier (La.) on Thursday before heading to Alexandria.
 
Texarkana has scored 16 goals and allowed just eight. Diego Picano leads the Eagles with nine goals and 18 points. He is 3-for-3 in penalties and has scored two game-winning goals.
 
Oliver Gregory and David Yearwood have split the majority of the season in goal, each starting five games and making 28 saves. Gregory holds a 1.67 goals against average, while Yearwood sits at 1.85.
 
LSUA is 5-2-1 all-time against Texarkana. The Generals have won the last two meetings, including a 2-1 win in last season's RRAC Quarterfinal.

Admission to men's soccer games for spectators is free. The Generals Soccer Field is located on the back of LSUA's campus between Acorn Drive, Middleton Drive, and Tom Bowman Drive. Seating is located on the south side of the field.
