PREVIEW | Women's Soccer Hosts Jarvis Christian, A&M-Texarkana

ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's soccer team hosts Jarvis Christian University and Texas A&M-Texarkana in a pair of Red River Athletic Conference matches.

THE GENERALS
LSUA split last week with Our Lady of the Lake and Texas A&M-San Antonio. They are now 3-1-0 in RRAC play.
 
Alexia Bermejo Jo recorded both goals in the Generals' 2-1 win over the Jaguars, bringing her season total for goals to six. She is tied for the team lead in goals with Sara Escribano García-Miguel.
 
SCOUTING JARVIS CHRISTIAN
The Bulldogs are 1-7-1 on the season and 1-3-0 in RRAC play. They won their last match against North American University 5-1.
 
Jarvis Christian has scored 13 goals on the season. Jayline Gracia and Valerie Morales lead the Bulldogs with three goals each. Morales holds the team lead with nine points.
 
 Victoria Alcantar has made all nine starts in goal for JCU. She has a goals against average of 4.71 and has made 38 saves.
 
LSUA is 12-0-0 all-time against Jarvis Christian. The Generals notched a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs last season. 
 
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-TEXARKANA
The Eagles are 8-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in RRAC play. They drew in their last outing to A&M-Victoria, 1-1.
 
Texarkana has scored 40 goals on the season, 13 of which have come from Desiree Narvaez. Brooklyn Lattier has notched eight goals.
 
Layla Anaya has made seven starts in goal for Texarkana. She has allowed just nine goals and has a goals against average of 1.47. Anaya has recorded 27 saves.
 
LSUA is 5-4-3 all-time against TAMUT. They recorded a 4-3 victory over the Eagles last season in the RRAC Quarterfinal.
 
FAN INFORMATION
Admission to women's soccer games for spectators is free. The Generals Soccer Field is located on the back of LSUA's campus between Acorn Drive, Middleton Drive, and Tom Bowman Drive. Seating is located on the south side of the field.
 
Prior to kick-off on Saturday, the Generals will honor their seven seniors: Alexia Bermejo Jo, Audrian Cruz, Jacqui Guillermo, Fenja Leibner, Maria Portas, Sarah Arceneaux, and Pauline Göckeritz.
