ALEXANDRIA, LA – The four-seed Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's soccer team hosts five-seeded Texas A&M-Texarkana in the Red River Athletic Conference Championship Quarterfinal.

THE GENERALS
LSUA has a record of 8-2-1in Red River Athletic Conference play and is 10-7-1 overall over the 2025 campaign. They drew in their last outing to Xavier (La.), 2-2. The Generals are 6-2-0 when playing at home.
 
In their meeting against A&M-Texarkana earlier this season, the Generals notched a 2-1 victory at home. Fenja Leibner scored an 80th minute equalizer before Sacha Backus scored the game-winning goal in the 84th minute.
 
Alexia Bermejo Jo leads the Generals with 12 goals and four assists for 28 points. Sara Escribano Garcia-Miguel has recorded 10 goals and five assists for 25 points.
 
Yanira Herraez has made nine starts in 10 appearances in goal for LSUA. She has made 17 saves and posted a goals against average of 1.44.
 
Audrian Cruz became the LSUA all-time appearances leader after making her 75th appearance against Xavier (La.) last Saturday. She passed Abby Angelle (74 appearances, 2014-17).
 
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-TEXARKANA
The Eagles enter the week with a 12-4-2 record overall and a 7-3-1 mark in RRAC play. They have won their last three matches and are 4-3-1 when playing away from home.
 
In their last three matches, TAMUT has recorded clean sheet wins over Southwest (N.M.), 3-0, Texas College, 7-0, and Jarvis Christian, 4-0.
 
Desiree Narvaez leads the Eagle with 18 goals and six assists for 42 points. Brooklyn Lattier has tallied 13 goals and four assists for 30 points.
 
Layla Anaya has made 14 starts in goal for A&M-Texarkana. She has made 52 saves and posted a goals against average of 1.34.

Admission to women's soccer games for spectators is free. The Generals Soccer Field is located on the back of LSUA's campus between Acorn Drive, Middleton Drive, and Tom Bowman Drive. Seating is located on the south side of the field.
