ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis team was eliminated in Red River Athletic Conference semifinals by Louisiana Christian, 4-3.
The Wildcats (12-9) captured the doubles point.

Kanu Rajawat had the lone Generals' (8-5) doubles win with a 6-0 victory over Alexandra Cedeno and Patricia Principal Pineda in the top pairing.
In singles, Echaide took down Raquel Coelho Rodrigues 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 [7-1]. Rajawat captured a 4-6, 7-5, 7-5 win over Elizaveta Mikhailova in No. 2 Singles.
Isabella Stuurman claimed the Generals' third win with a 7-5 [7-2], 6-1 win in No. 5 Singles over Adjowa Sika-Gell.
Belen Blasco fell to Cedeno 6-2, 3-6, 2-6 in the three spot.
Gianna Panaggio was defeated 4-6, 3-6 by Ana Sofia Ferrer Martinez in No. 4 Singles.
The Wildcats clinched the match with a victory in No. 6 Singles with the match coming down to tiebreak.
Joline Roesch fell 6-7 [5-7], 6-3, 3-6 to Principal Pineda.
The Generals now await the drawing for the NAIA National Tournament.
