STERLINGTON, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball team was eliminated from the Red River Athletic Conference Championship by eight-seeded Huston-Tillotson, 5-4.
Originally scheduled for yesterday, the five-seeded Generals (23-28) were ahead 2-0 through three innings of play before Mother Nature's intervention forced the game to be suspended until today.

Blaise Foote with a single before the game was halted yesterday.
Upon resumption of play,
Judge Boudreaux doubled home Foote in the fifth for a 3-0 lead.
A solo home run from the Rams (19-29) in the bottom of the inning made it 3-1. They scored four runs in the seventh inning to take a 5-3 lead.
In the eighth, a bases loaded walk to
Keegan Garcia forced home Dugas to cut the score to 5-4.
The Generals put the tying run on base in the ninth but the Rams rolled a ground ball double play to end the game.
