ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball travels to San Antonio, Texas for the first road trip of 2026.

THE GENERALS
LSUA is coming off a 27-point victory over Louisiana Christian University. The 77-50 victory improved the Generals' record to 5-7 overall and 4-3 in Red River Athletic Conference play.
 
Justice Young led LSUA with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Sydney Person still leads the Generals in scoring across the season, averaging 12.0 points per game. Young is averaging 10.2 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game.
 
The Generals average 67.2 points per game and allow 68.1. They are shooting 40.1 percent from the field and out rebound their opposition 38.8 to 37.1.
 
SCOUTING OUR LADY OF THE LAKE
The Saints are 3-11 on the season and 2-6 in RRAC play. They have lost their last two games and are 1-5 when playing at home.
 
OLLU averages 59.1 points per game and are shooting 37.3 percent from the field as a team. The Saints allow 65.4 points per game. Leading OLLU's offense is Shyla Dede and Alexandra Westerdijk Martin. Dede averages a team-high 13.1 points per game, while Westerdijk Martin chips in 11.9 points per game.
 
 Westerdijk Martin also leads the Saints in rebounding, hauling in 11.1 rebounds per game. OLLU is being out rebounded 38.5 to 37.2 by their opponents this season.
 
LSUA is 7-13 against the Saints all-time. They have won the last six meetings but are 2-7 when playing on the road.
 
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-SAN ANTONIO
The Jaguars are 10-4 on the season and 7-1 in RRAC contests. They have won their last four games and are 5-0 when playing at home.
 
Evelyn Lorenzo leads the Jaguars' offense, averaging 14.4 points per game. Aniyah Lewis (10.1) is also averaging double-digit scoring efforts. TAMUSA averages 68.9 points per game and allows 64.5. The Jaguars are shooting 36.9 percent from the floor.
 
Leis leads the team in rebounding with 5.6 boards per game. Talaiyah Andrews is averaging 5.0 rebounds per game. The Jaguars are being out rebounded 44.4 to 37.4 by their opponents.
 
LSUA is 1-1 all-time against the TAMUSA. They split last season's season series.
