ALEXANDRIA, LA – Seven Louisiana State University of Alexandria spring sport student-athletes were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes this week, the NAIA announced.
In order to qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have attended their institution for a year, and have a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Julia Kwakernaak, Kaetlyn Dunbar, and Jaycie O'Conner from LSUA softball earned Scholar-Athlete honors.
Joline Roesch, Lucie Ivanova, Isabella Stuurman, and Nahia Echaide from LSUA women's tennis were named Scholar-Athletes.
