Ty Toups is in his first year as an assistant coach with the Generals baseball team. Toups is graduate of Central Lafourche High School, and is currently continuing his education with a concentration in kinesiology.

Toups, a former business owner, has a knack for infield/defensive training and finds his passion in helping the team grow through stretching, and strength and conditioning.

He has been coaching since 2008 with experience in High School, Middle School, American Legion and Travel baseball.

Toups is a Schriever, Louisiana, native and set roots in Youngsville with his wife Danielle and two daughters.
