Jimmy Wenslow III enters his first season as an assistant coach on the LSUA men's basketball staff.

The Pineville native spent the previous six seasons as an assistant Tioga High School in nearby Ball, La. During his time at THS, the Indian basketball team saw unprecedented success, winning three of the last four district championships before coming to LSUA, including a trip to the LHSAA's Class 4A Quarterfinals in 2017, the deepest run in the State Championship Tournament by the Indians in more than a decade.

Wenslow and his wife, Tillisha, have one son, Micah.
