Hagan joined the Generals' staff in 2024.
In 2025, Hagan helped guide the Generals' pitching staff to an ERA of 2.45 and a WHIP of 1.32, a near two-run improvement to the squad's 2024 ERA and a reduction of 0.17 to the team's WHIP. Hagan's coaching helped establish Haley Primrose as a dominant pitcher in the RRAC. The right-hander posted a 25-7 record with an ERA of 2.18 and a WHIP of 1.20. She struck out 181 hitters and held opponents to an average of .228.
The Generals made NAIA Postseason appearances in each of Hagan's first two seasons on staff.
Hagan resides in Alexandria with his wife, Krysta and two kids.
