Coach Robbie Tate joins the LSUA softball staff for 2015-16 school year. He has an extensive coaching background in fastpitch softball as a high school coach (Sacred Heart) and travel-ball coach with the Louisiana Red Stick 007’s organization. Robbie is a standing member of the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association, the ASA softball association, and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Coach Tate is from Ville Platte, Louisiana and provides private instructional lessons for all age groups in the areas of hitting, slapping, and pitching. He will work with the LSUA pitchers as well as help in all areas of the game for the Lady Generals. Robbie graduated from LSU (Baton Rouge) in 1994 with a degree in Animal Science. He is married to Christy and the couple have two children, Whitney 14 and Rylie 11.
