Trent Partridge

Partridge was hired as the Generals' Interim Head Coach for the 2023 season before being elevated to Head Coach following the season.
 
The 2025 season saw the Generals post a record of 47-9, including a 26-2 mark in RRAC play. It was LSUA’s highest win total since 2017 (52). LSUA made the NAIA Opening Rounds for the second consecutive season while being ranked as high as No. 6 in the NAIA. Offensively, the Generals posted a team average of .380, fifth-best in the NAIA. They scored 461 runs and hit 52 balls out of the park. LSUA led the nation with 169 stolen bases. The Generals took home RRAC Player of the Year (Julia Kwakernaak), Defensive Player of the Year (Madi Baker), Newcomer of the Year (Kaetlyn Dunbar), and Partridge was named the 2025 RRAC Coach of the Year. Kwakernaak, Baker, Dunbar, Fontenot, Jillian Howell, Kilee Moody, and Haley Primrose were all named First Team All-RRAC selections. Kwakernaak finished the season with an average of .506. She led the Generals in average, home runs (13), runs batted in (62), slugging percentage (.929), on-base percentage (.565), and finished 25-for-25 in stolen bases. Moody (.436) and Fontenot (.410) both finished the season over .400. Fontenot tallied a team-high 38 stolen bases. Primrose finished the season with a 25-7 record, holding opponents to an average of .228. She posted an ERA of .218 and a WHIP of 1.20 with 181 strikeouts. Kamille Lightfoot set an LSUA record for most home runs by a freshman (8), while Alyssa Soileau tallied a freshman record 17 wins in the circle. Molly Sistrunk was named to the RRAC Champions of Character Team. Partridge and his staff earned NFCA NAIA Region I Coaching Staff of the Year. Partridge reached his 100th career victory at LSUA on April 19 with a walk-off win over rival Louisiana Christian. He became the fastest coach in LSUA history to reach 100 wins (145 games).
 
In 2024, the Generals improved to a 38-win season under Partridge’s tutelage – an improvement of 12 wins from 2023. LSUA went 20-6 in RRAC play and won the RRAC Championship, defeating Our Lady of the Lake in back-to-back games to claim the tournament title. 2024 was the first season LSUA made an NAIA Opening Rounds appearance under Partridge. Haley Fontenot earned RRAC Player of the Year, First Team All-RRAC, and was named a First Team NAIA All-American. Fontenot posted an average of .531 and an on-base percentage .591. She drove in 45 runs and hit 12 home runs. Amber Giddens also earned a First Team All-RRAC nod after posting an average of .350. Haylee Ladner, Madi Baker, Destiney Jones, Haley Primrose, and Taylor Spencer earned Second Team All-RRAC. Jones was named to the RRAC Champions of Character Team.

During his interim season, Partridge guided the Generals to a 24-21 record, including a 16-8 mark in Red River Athlteic Conference play. Six Generals earned All-RRAC honors. Haley Fontenot was named First Team All-RRAC after posting a .392 batting average with one home run and 17 runs batted in. Bailey Layton, Katherine Atkins, Jillian Howell, and Taylor Spencer were named Second Team All-RRAC. Amber Giddens was named to the RRAC Champions of Character Team.
