ALEXANDRIA - The Generals (3-3-3) faced Paul Quinn (2-3-3) in a tough match for their senior night falling to the Tigers 1-2.

The Generals came out strong and maintained possession for majority of the first half getting an early foul in the box earning a penalty kick. The penalty was finished in the back of the net by goal scorer Daniel Torrenegra, putting the Generals up 1-0 before half time.  The goal also gave Torrenegra his 8^th goal of the season setting a new single season goal record that was previously held by Generals interim head coach Mackenzie Young.

While the Generals had the game under control the first half, the second half came to a shock. The Tigers were able to tie the game 1-1 by taking a shot that slipped through goalkeeper's hands

As the Generals kept fighting for another goal, they fell short as Paul Quinn found the back of the net once again, gaining 3 points as they beat the Generals 2-1. 

The Generals will finish the regular season on the road next week at Texas College on Thursday October 27^th and at Jarvis Christian University on October 29^th.
