Alexandria, LA- The Generals continued their conference play against the Texarkana Eagles who came into The Fort 4-1 in conference play looking to continue their win streak, however, Generals were able to pull off the upset getting the 87-74 win over the Eagles. After tonight's win, Generals moved to 2-3 in conference play.Â

To start the game, it was the Eagles who were able to get on the board first with a free-throw from Kobe Powel, but
Kashie Natt was able to respond by scoring the first two baskets for the Generals. The Eagles were able to hold on to their short lead up until the 13:07 mark in the 1
st Half before the Generals took over and never looked back.Â

Kashie Natt led the Generals on the night with 18 points going 7-13 from the field and 4-5 from the free throw line. Adding to that with 14 points each, was
Jeremy Richard and Ogien "Joe" Ayo. Overall, Generals shot 47.8% on the night.Â

The Generals and Eagles both battled on the glass and tied for rebounds with 38. However, for the Generals,
Mitchell Seraille was able to grab 9 boards leading the Generals in rebounds, and
Kashie Natt followed up with 8 of his own.Â

The Generals will be taking on Tougaloo College for a non-conference match up on December 30
th. Tip-off is set for 2:00 PM in Tougaloo, MS.
