The Generals traveled to Mississippi to take on the Tougaloo Bulldogs hoping to end their perfect record. The Generals put up a good fight, however, fell to the Bulldogs in overtime 86-90.
 
The Generals started the game off strong leading the Bulldogs into half-time with a score of 38-34. They also had the largest lead of the game with a 9-point lead with 2:32 remaining in the first half. Coming into the second quarter, the Bulldogs came out hot scoring the first two baskets of the second half before the Generals were able to respond. The Bulldogs were able to outscore the Generals in the second half, but not with ease as the Generals were able to push the Bulldogs into overtime. 
 
Overall, the Generals shot 50% from the field with Richard and Lapoole leading the Generals in scoring each racking up 18 points of their own. Desmond McQuain was also able to add in 15 points for the Generals. Mitchell Seraille and Lapoole had a day on the glass leading the Generals in rebounds with 6 boards each. The Generals were able to grab 33 rebounds on the night but were outrebounded by the Bulldogs 41-33.
 
The Generals will be back at the Fort on January 3^rd, 2023, to continue conference play against Xavier. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.
