Austin, TX-Conference for the Generals started off with a heartbreaking loss against the Huston Tillotson Rams, 81-84.
 
Leading scorer of the night was once again, point guard, Jeremy Richard. Richard led with 23 points going 2-2 from the three-point line and 8-11 from the field. Kashie Natt was the second leading scorer with 15 points of his own and he also led the team in rebounds, grabbing 8 boards. 
 
Generals led for majority of the game, but the Rams went on a run in the second half that put them into the lead. The Generals kept it close, fighting to regain the lead and leave with the win, however clutch redemption shots that would have secured the W for them, were missed. 
 
The Generals next game will be against the OLLU Saints in San Antonio. This second game of conference for the Generals is set to tip-off at 5:00 PM.
