San Antonio, TX- The second game of conference play for the Generals was against the Saints of OLLU. The Generals were unable to finish with a win, falling to the Saints 88-94. 
 
The Generals led for the entire game up until 4:20 left in the 2^nd half, where a 3-point shot from Saints, Ruben Mozon put them over leading 76-78. Following, Mozon's 3-pointer the Saints continued their run with a set of back-to-back threes. The rest is history. Generals fought hard until the final buzzard but could not overcome the Saints lead late in the second half. 
 
Despite the loss, the Generals shot well with a 56.7% from the field and even rebounded the ball well, outrebounding the Saints 30-29. The Generals also had nine steals compared to the Saints 2. Kashie Natt and JD Allen combined for 28 points each scoring 14 and following up with 13 points each was Jakemin Abney and Jeremy Richard. A new face for the Generals this year, Willie Lapoole, also contributed with 11 points and led in rebounds, grabbing 8 boards for the Generals. 
 
The Generals will take on LSUS in Shreveport, LA on December 8^th for the next game of conference play. 7:00PM is the set tip-off time.
