Shreveport, LA- A 67-82 loss to rivals, LSU-Shreveport, has the Generals off to a 0-3 start in conference play.Â

The Generals started off hot in the first half leading the Pilots for the entirety of the first 20 minutes of play that started with a bucket from
JD Allen putting the Generals on the board first. Generals were hot, shooting a 47%, during the first half against the Pilots and had an 8-point lead going into half-time with a score of 41-33.Â

Coming out of half-time Generals tried to hang on to their lead, however shooting for the Generals turned cold as the Pilots started heating up. Generals only shot a 29% during the second half compared to the Pilots 58.6%. Pilots took over and maintained the lead with 3:20 remaining in the 2
nd half, ultimately sealing the win for them.

Familiar face for the Generals,
Jakemin Abney, led the team with 25 points, shooting 8-13 from the field and 1-3 from the 3-point line.
Kashie Natt and
Jeremy Richard were also able to contribute 9 points each for the Generals.Â

Generals will be back in action Saturday, December 10
th for a non-conference game against D1 Southern University. Tip-off is set for 4:00 PM.Â
