ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals extended their win streak to four games after taking down the defending conference champions of the 2021-22 season, the Saints of OLLU. 
 
The Generals left no doubt in their dominant 68-53 win over the Saints, as they went on an 8-0 run to start the game before the Saints could respond back. Generals kept their lead for the entirety of the game, with their largest lead of 18 points in the 4^th quarter with 3:18 left.
 
Dannah Martin-Hartwick poured 14 points in for the Generals going 4-6 from the three-point range and 5-9 from the field. Amani Gray was also able to contribute not only in scoring with 13 points of her own but battled on the glass leading in rebounds with 8 out of the Generals' 38 boards. 
 
Back on the road for the next Red River Conference match up, the Generals will be taking on Xavier in New Orleans. Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM on January 26th.
