Here's what Harrison had to say on the preparation and focus leading into the game, and thoughts on the game overall: "We put a lot of focus on rebounding and assist this game, and on the practices leading up to the game. Everyone bought in and worked hard in practice. We were all locked in and ready to start the new year off right, with a win. Everyone played hard tonight, and it was a great team win. We shared the ball well and we crashed the boards hard. I feel like I played my part and hit some good shots, but those good shots came from great passes from my teammates as well. I'm super proud of our effort and intensity tonight and I'm ready to get back to work and bring home the next win".
"I'm very proud of the team tonight", said Perkins, "We (the coaching staff) challenged our players to be more physical and crash the board this week and during the game we came out and performed well. This was a great team win against a well-coached team".
The Generals will be back at home, taking on the Southwest Mustangs, on Saturday, January 7
th. Tip-off is set for 2:00 PM.
